Alejandro Fernández made history. His influence put Ribera del Duero and tempranillo grape variety on the map, changing forever the records of wine making in Spain.
His personal style was completely different from the one dominating the wine industry at the time and was immediately acclaimed internationally, a success which was strongly echoed in Spain. His revolution turned into a development in winemaking which still persists, both in and outside the Ribera de Duero.

The legacy left by Alejandro Fernández extends beyond winemaking. He was an intelligent, visionary, confident, modest, beloved and respected man and made a difference everywhere he stepped.
His trail will be preserved for a long time, and those lucky enough to have met him will remember him forever.
